It is made entirely by hand at Pollygarden Studios in Seoul, where skilled artisans follow a meticulous process from start to finish. The subtle imperfections that come from kneading and shaping the clay by hand give each mug a one-of-a-kind form, making it a true work of art.
Unlike mass-produced items, handmade ceramics feature unique characteristics, such as irregular openings, slight variations in shape, and differences in pattern and size. These imperfections—such as small scratches, rough textures, black spots, tiny pinholes, and glaze-flow marks—are not flaws but rather natural marks of craftsmanship. They are an integral part of the process and contribute to the mug's individuality and charm.
